100% agree with the dialogue tags. I always make a note of who said what so I don't lose track. On second pass, I add all the 'said', 'asked', etc. and add any movements characters make or gestures. It's such a relief to get the conversation out and move forward.

I have never thought to repeat typing the last few lines. Starting is always my least favorite part, but once I get going, it's smooth. This sounds like a great idea.
