Hey guys! This month I’m going to be doing some general updates on my NaNoWriMo progress. You’ll see how I’m progressing, get some insider looks at what I’ve written each week, and see some of the stuff that goes into creating a book!

NaNoWriMo: Week 3

Projects: Star Supernova (Blue Star Series, Star Trilogy #2), Prequel to The Curse of Broken Shadows

Word Count: 43,534 / 50,000 ( updated count on the NaNo website)

Details: So, this week I can finally tell you all why I’ve been spending so much of my day distracted, sleeping, or hurling over a toilet. It’s not hellthorn poisoning. The newest character in our household is coming May 2022 and pregnancy brain is a real thing. That’s a big reason I pushed a lot of my work to the front of the month when I was able to sit for a little longer and get more stuff done. Still, I’m slowly making my way toward the finish line, which I am really hoping can come before or shortly after Thanksgiving next week. I did end up finishing one of my prequel stories so that was a huge relief, and having that ending in sight helped me knock out some good words! The daily count being under 1K is somehow still a challenge, but I’m hitting it (which is good because I don’t write on weekends).
