Not to be cliché, but, great post!

I've been taking the time recently to find at least five new writers and comment on some of their work that has struck me in a positive way. I struck up a conversation with someone on Twitter the other day and it ended in a lot of great ideas and a new writer friend.

You never know when your comment might spark something in someone or make their day. A little encouragement and love in the writing community is what we all need right now.

To follow up, I completely agree that to get attention, you have to give value to the reader. It can't always be about you. Give them a solution or an answer or a way to solve their problem.

I hope this post encourages readers to go out and engage with the community.
